I was born and raised on Maine’s rocky coast, with various training, schooling and life-experiences in New Hampshire, The Virgin Islands, New Mexico and Colorado. I am happy to be back and settled in my home state.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire, my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from the University of Southern Maine, and my Certificate (EMDRIA) in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) from the Colorado Center for Alternative Psychology. Santa Fe, New Mexico was also an integral part in incorporating the spiritual aspect of counseling into my practice, where I was able to participate in courses and ceremonies of many earth-based traditions. I am a fully Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine.

My post-graduate experiences as a therapist include managing a mobile crisis intervention team, working as a mobile crisis clinician, assessing lethality and levels of care, being an in-home family therapist, and an individual out-patient therapist.
